We do not usually get a lot of snow around here.
After all this is high desert.
Usually, we will get a thin layer of snow..
and then a few days later it all goes away.
Even if the temperature stays below freezing, it is usually dry enough,
and the snow cover is thin enough that it rarely lasts for more that a day or two.
Not this year.
It turns out we needed a lot more plows, salt and shovels than we thought.
But we are used to coping so we'll make it.
It may get even more interesting though, if all this melts at once.
We have more snow than we know what to do with.
